Dear Clients,

To operate our taxidermy business efficiently and professionally, we have terms and conditions that apply to all mounts that come into our shop. Please read the following carefully. If you have any questions, please call or email us and we will be happy to help you.

• Payments Due:

A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time an order has been placed and your specimen is dropped off. Work will not begin without the required deposit. The remaining open balance and shipping are due in full upon notification of the completion of the work order. A storage fee of $50 per week will be assessed for all items left over 30 days.

Unless payment arrangements have been made, it is agreed that any mounts/specimens not paid in full within six months after completion of the work order will become, without notice, the sole property of Florida Trophy Gators, Inc.

All prices reflect the finest high-quality taxidermy work we can provide you with. However, there are additional charges that will apply to your order should you choose to upgrade your mounts to include bases with habitat, alterations, pedestal mounts, adding fish to mount, etc. Standard bases (stained boards) are included in our prices. Please know these fees will be discussed and agreed upon before mounting.

• Taxidermy Turnaround Time:

The average turnaround time for full-body, half-body, and flat-skin mounts is 48 months. This time frame can change due to unforeseen circumstances at any time.

The average turnaround time for head mounts, feet mounts, and tanned hide is 12-18 months. This time frame can also change due to unforeseen circumstances.

   Please keep in mind that there are many underlying scars on an alligator that are not visible until it is tanned. When there are underlying scars and it is going through the tanner, it catches those scars and causes holes. Since there is nothing, we can do to prevent that from happening, we will not be responsible for any damaged hides, so your deposit will not be refunded.

• Liability Waiver:

Florida Trophy Gators Inc. shall not be held responsible for damage to or loss of any mount for any reason, past, present, or future, including but in no way limited to losses resulting from insect destruction, fire, theft, weather, or vandalism.

• Guarantee:

It is our commitment to make every client who chooses to trust us with your trophy a completely satisfied customer. However, there may be something that a client may wish to change or fix. Please know we are happy to take care of minor issues at no charge within thirty days from the time of delivery. After thirty days, a minimum repair/alteration labor fee plus materials will become applicable.

• Lifetime Warranty:

By utilizing the very latest techniques in tanning and using only the highest quality materials available, we can ensure your trophy will withstand the test of time. That’s why every trophy that leaves our studio is guaranteed for life. We appreciate your business!
